About Us

The New York Center for Dairy Excellence is farmer-driven and farmer focused. Its objective is to identify and facilitate implementation of programs and projects that enhance productivity and profitability for New York’s dairy farmers, while promoting the sustainability and growth of the Northeast dairy industry as a whole.
 
The Center is guided by the New York Dairy Industry Task Force, which outlines strategies for overcoming barriers to dairy farming or advancing opportunities for success.
  The Center is located within the New York Farm Viability Institute offices in Syracuse, NY.
